Competition Rules


  • Entrants must be 18 and over and resident in the UK.
  • By entering this competition you agree to receive exciting newsletters and offers from Hamleys. Hamleys will only use your data for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy and you can unsubscribe from communications by emailing hamleys@hamleys.com
  • Each email address supplied, including your own, will constitute an entry into the prize draw. For example, 1 entry with no referrals will result in one entry into the prize draw, 1 entry with 5 referrals will result in 6 entries into the prize draw.
  • On referring a friend they will be sent an email requiring them to validate and subscribe to the Hamleys newsletter. To unsubscribe from our newsletter friends can email hamleys@hamleys.com
  • Any misuse of the competition for spamming will invalidate all entrants’ entries.
  • The prize draw will take place on the 8th December 2008. The winner will be notified by email or telephone shortly after and no later than 19 December 2008.
  • No purchase necessary.
  • The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prize must be claimed within 28 days.
  • The prize pool is £800 of Hamleys.com vouchers which can only be spent online at www.hamleys.com. No cash alternative will be given.
  • Hamleys does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to any internet service issues. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  • Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. No responsibility is accepted for incorrectly completed entries or entries made fraudulently.
  • This competition is not open to Hamleys, its contractors or employees or to any person directly or indirectly involved in the running of the competition or their direct family members.
  • Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering a competition. Entrants will also be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by any extra rules that appear with the competition details.
